Doctors, dentists, speech therapists, psychologists, lawyers and other professionals have to report to the IRS the CPF of their patients or clients and the amount received this year, through the payment booklet.
The new rule takes effect this year, so that this information is in their statements of income tax in 2016.
According to Carlos Roberto Occaso, undersecretary of Collection and Service, the measure will allow a more precise data crossing and can help prevent fraud in the calculation.
The change should prevent many taxpayers fall into the fine mesh and have to prove deducted expenses of IR calculation basis.
Until then, professionals informed the tax authorities only the total value of its revenues, without detailing the source individually. Now, can fill every month the information their income and import them into your IR statement later.
Revenue reported that the programs for declaration of income tax this year will be available from 8am next Monday, March 2nd. The day coincides with the start date for the declaration, which will last until April 30.
Starting this year, taxpayers can save online the declaration data and retrieve them from any –computer device, smartphone or tablet– before sending the document. The data is accessed only by the contributor, by means of a keyword.
“The taxpayer can start filling by a device, retrieve and transmit on the other by a third,” exemplified Occaso.
Another change is the ability to draft use (tool launched in October last year) to facilitate the completion of the declaration. The draft of the fill will be available until February 28, and the information contained therein may be imported into the statement until the due date of delivery of the document.
From the end of May, the taxpayer will have another facility: every time your statement –if status change is processed or dropped into fine mesh, for example– the tax authorities will send a message by phone. To access the system, the taxpayer will have to register on the Revenue website.
